Description
This variety has a deep, mysterious hue of purple ranging to blackness at times. The 3-4.5 inch diameter feather-light blooms seem to float atop wispy 3-foot stems when given full sun exposure. Magnificent and complicated wine-colored blooms with misty blue-green lettuce-leaf-type foliage creates a bold contrast. The clouds of purple blooms are ultra-attractive to pollinators, especially bees. It’s an annual that self seeds readily. Theses poppies germinate differently than most seeds and specific growing directions are included with each order.
